Rahman Creates New Pay Record

AR Rahman the Oscar-winning composer continues to be one of the most respected names in Indian cinema.

He has worked across all industries maintaining his strong position despite rising competition.

In recent years composers like Anirudh have dominated the commercial space and become highly paid.

Now Rahman is making headlines for his massive paycheck. He is composing music for the big-budget two-part film Ramayana along with Hollywood legend Hans Zimmer. Reports say he is being paid around Rs 30 crore, the highest ever for an Indian composer.
