Kajol is one of the leading Indian women actors from the past 2 decades. She started her career with Bekhudi and rose to fame with her Baazigar opposite Shah Rukh Khan. She made an amazing pairing with Shah Rukh Khan in films like Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Kuch Kuch Hota hein, Kabhi Kushi Kabhi Gham, My Name is Khan and recently, Dilwale. She acted in negative roles in films like Gupt, Dilwale but never she turned full fledged villainess in South Indian Films. She last acted in AVM Studios production, Minsara Kanavu/ Merupu Kalalu directed by famous cinematographer Rajeev Menon.
She had hits with all the Khans like Ishq, Pyar kiya toh Darna Kya, Fanaah. She paired opposite her husband Ajay Devgn in many popular films as well. She chose to act in only those films her heart accepts after marriage and except for My Name is Khan, We are Family, Fanaah, Dilwale, U Me aur Hum she chose to reject offers as she wanted to be fully dedicated home bound mother for her kids.
Now after Dilwale, she is open to hearing interesting scripts, so she heard a script from Soundarya Rajnikanth who wants to make a sequel for VIP. Raghuvaran B.Tech in Telugu. Kajol confirmed that she will be a part of the film and participated in a photoshoot as well. The movie will be released next year Diwali time tentatively and the shoot is supposed to start from March after Dhanush completes his directorial debut, Power Pandi and Gautam Menon’s film Ennai Nokki Payum Thota.
