Prabhas and Pooja Hegde’s period love drama, Radhe Shyam is in making for the past two and half years or so. Being directed by Radha Krishna Kumar, the film’s shooting was stalled during its last leg due to the ongoing Covid second wave situation. Due to the same, the film’s release which was initially scheduled for a July 30th release is now likely to postponed indefinitely.
Meanwhile, the latest reports coming in for Bollywood media is that noted digital channel ZEE group has offered a whopping amount to acquire the film’s theatrical and digital streaming rights. Though the price details are yet to be out, sources confirm that if the makers are happy and satisfied with the offer, Radhe Shyam will first have a digital release on a pay-per-view basis and later will be released in the theatres soon after the Covid situation returns to normalcy.
Also starring Sachin Khedekar, Krishnam Raju, Bhagyashree, Murali Sharma, Kunaal Roy Kapur among others in prominent roles, Radhe Shyam is being bankrolled by GopiKrishna Movies in association with UV Creations banner. T-Series banner has acquired the Hindi version rights of the film.
