Radhe Shyam, the highly-anticipated period love story set in Europe backdrop is in making for the past two and half years or so. Starring Prabhas and Pooja Hegde in the lead roles, after overcoming many hurdles during the shooting process, the film has wrapped up almost its shot part except for a few patchwork scenes.
Initially, the film unit planned to can the balance part for ten days beginning from April end but due to ongoing Covid circumstances, the shooting was halted. Meanwhile, the latest news coming in from media circles is that the Bollywood production house T-Series banner that is also a part of Radhe Shyam’s making has been insisting to shoot a special promotional duet on the lead pair. Reportedly, as T-Series holds a considerable stake in Radhe Shyam’s budget, the film unit has no other option but to be ready to can a romantic song in Prabhas and Pooja Hegde soon after the Covid situation returns to normalcy.
This Radhakrishna Kumar directorial is being bankrolled by Prabhas’ uncle Krishnam Raju’s GopiKrishna Movies and UV Creations banner. The film which is slated to hit the screens in the month of July is likely to skip the announced release date due to the pandemic crisis.
