Prabhas and Pooja Hegde’s pan-India project, Radhe Shyam is in making for the past two years or so. Prabhas’ uncle Krishnam Raju’s GopiKrishna Movies and UV Creations banners are bankrolling the film.
Initially, when the project went on the floors in 2019, the team planned to wrap up it with a medium budget of Rs 100 crore. But later with the entry of Bollywood production house T-Series, the budget has been increased to almost Rs 200 crore. Adding to it, delay in the shoot schedules is also costing heavily for Radhe Shyam makers.
Now, the latest news is that considering the budget constraints, Prabhas has decided to not take any share from the profits as he is doing the film solely for his uncle Krishnam Raju’s family.
Though the film is scheduled for a July release, due to the ongoing Covid-19 second wave circumstances, the film is likely to postpone further. Touted as a period romantic drama, this Radha Krishna Kumar directorial has Bollywood actress Bhagyashree, Sachin Khedekar, Murali Sharma, Kunaal Roy Kapur, Riddhi Kumar among others in prominent roles.
