Young Rebel Star Prabhas’s last release was Saaho, which released in 2019. There were a lot of expectations on the film, but the film turned out to be a disappointment to general audiences and Prabhas fans alike, despite performing well at the box office. Ever since then, Prabhas’s fans have been eagerly waiting to see him in his next, Radhey Shyam, directed by Radha Krishna Kumar.
The shooting of Radhe Shyam has been delayed due to both the waves of the coronavirus pandemic, and still has a few days of shooting left. According to the latest reports, Prabhas has decided to join the shooting of Radhe Shyam towards the end of June, and wrap up shooting for the film completely. Once he’s done with shooting for this film, he is expected to resume shooting for Salaar, after which he is expected to resume shooting for Adipurush.
Pooja Hegde is the leading lady of Radhe Shyam, and the film is touted to be an epic romance between Pooja’s Prerana and Prabhas’s Vikramaditya. Radhe Shyam is also expected to release towards the end of this year. While there are reports that the producers of Radhe Shyam have been offered a massive OTT deal, there hasn’t been any official confirmation on the same.
