Actress Raasi debuted with Subhakankshalu and became a big sensation as the young actress who cutely transformed from child actress to a lead. After playing as a lead in different genres with different actors, Raasi became famous for her acting skills and oomph factor as well. She at a later stage started performing in special songs in movies like Venky and Nijam. She married director, S.S. Nivas and took a break from acting career to look after her family.
Now, she announced her comeback as a character artiste into movies with Kalyana Vaibhogame and Akathayi. Both the movies have released and give her a name but the actress wants to deliver a big success and prove that she is still one of the most sorted after actresses. Her husband directed the movie, Lanka and the movie will release on 21st April, that is, this Friday. So she interacted with media and said the movie will be a complete new character for her and she wished that people will love her in the movie.
She said from her time to today she has noticed lot of differences in the way actresses are treated. She continued saying, ” We never demanded for caravans and separate rooms as producers won’t provide them. Today it is all different as the actresses have many facilities and during our time we used to change our clothes by asking people to hold cloth or cover ourselves with something. These days remunerations are also higher than what we got in our time. We used to get something equivalent to what character artists earn per day!”
