Madhavan will be honoured with the Padma Shri award for his contribution to Indian cinema. He expressed his great happiness and gratitude by sharing a decent post from the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting on Insta.
Madhavan began his beautiful career in T.V and appeared in more than 1200 episodes before becoming a successful film star.
Over the years he has acted in more than 75 films earning recognition for his versatile performances.
He was also appointed President of the Film and Television Institute of India Society in 2023. Along with Madhavan, Mammootty will receive the Padma Bhushan.
Madhavan was recently seen in Dhurandhar where his performance was widely appreciated.
