Queen 2 Not Happening

Recently reports said that a sequel to Kangana Ranaut’s hit film Queen (2014) is being planned. Director Vikas Bahl, who made the first film will also direct this one and shooting may begin in April.

However, the film may not be titled Queen 2. Makers are considering the name Queen Forever and are likely to announce it soon.

Producer Amit Chandrra will back the film under Trigger Happy Studios. In the sequel, Kangana’s character Rani will travel across different cities in India instead of going abroad, continuing her journey of self-discovery.

The original Queen starred Rajkummar Rao and Lisa Haydon.

It told the story of a girl who goes on her honeymoon alone after her wedding is cancelled. The film became a big hit and was loved for its story and performances.
