While the excitement surrounding the Hindi release of Allu Arjun’s Pushpa is undeniable, it is also undeniable that the makers were too hasty when it came to selling the Hindi theatrical rights of the film. The Hindi theatrical rights of the film were sold off even before the shooting of the film had begun, to Goldmines Telefilms, In doing so, the makers of Pushpa, Mythri Movie Makers, will now have very little share in the profits of the film.
AA films is the distributor of the film in Hindi, and while Goldmines Telefilms and AA films will be enjoying a good share in the profits, the same cannot be said about Mythri Movie Makers. On the other hand, there were several speculations earlier that the film’s Hindi theatrical release would not take place at all. Now, while the film is releasing in Hindi, the producers have to take a great risk with the release.
Pushpa is being made in two parts, with the first part releasing on December 17th this year, and the second part scheduled to release next year. Rashmika Mandanna is the leading lady of the film, while Fahadh Faasil is the antagonist. The promotions of the film are about to begin very soon, with Bunny taking full charge of them.
