Music director Devi Sri Prasad has given a number of memorable albums throughout his career, and some of the most memorable ones are with certain directors and actors. He is now collaborating with two such people at the same time, in Pushpa, with director Sukumar and actor Allu Arjun. Sukumar has very famously not worked with any music director apart from DSP in all of his career, and some of Allu Arjun’s most memorable albums have been composed by DSP. As a result, the expectations on the album of Pushpa have been high since day one.
The first song from Pushpa, Daakko Daakko Meka, was released on August 13th, and the video has crossed the 80 Million mark on Youtube, having gained more than 80 million views right now. The song is a highly energetic one and has been released in other languages as well, as ‘Odu Odu Aade’ in Tamil and Malayalam, as ‘Jaago Jaago Bakre’ in Hindi, and as ‘Jokke Jokke Meke’ in Kannada.
On the other hand, the first look of Rashmika Mandanna, the leading lady of the film, will be released tomorrow. The first look of Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil, who is playing the lead antagonist in the film, has already been released and has garnered a lot of interest in his character, and on the film as a whole.
