Pushpa turns victim to Hyderabad’s heavy rains

Stylish Star Allu Arjun is collaborating for the third time with director Sukumar, for their upcoming film Pushpa, after Arya and Arya 2 in the past. There are a lot of expectations on the film, which is being made on a pan-Indian scale, where Bunny will be seen in two different avatars, over the span of two parts. Pushpa is being made in two parts, due to the huge scope of the film.

The shooting of the film was stalled in May, due to the second wave of coronavirus, and the subsequent lockdown. The shooting was only recently resumed after the lockdown was lifted by the Telangana government. A total of 45 days of shoot is left to shoot for part 1, and director Sukumar is said to have hoped to finish shooting it as soon as possible. However, this now doesn’t seem possible, as the recent heavy rains have reportedly affected the shooting process of Pushpa.

On the other hand, Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil plays the lead antagonist in the film, and the first par of Pushpa is said to end on a cliffhanger regarding Fahadh’s character in the film. Pushpa is expected to release towards the end of this year, mostly in December, while the second part is expected to start shooting in the Summer of next year.
