From the past few day news has been circulating among the film circles is that the makers of Allu Arjun’s upcoming film, Pushpa are planning to release the film in two parts. But there is no official confirmation regarding the same from the makers’ side.
Now, the latest we hear is that Ravi, who is one of the producers of Pushpa confirmed that the film will have a release in two parts. Speaking to a social media portal, Ravi also said that director Sukumar is currently busy giving final touches to the script for the second part. He also confirmed that except for the 10-day schedule, the shooting for the first part of Pushpa has been wrapped up.
Reportedly, the makers are planning to hike the early estimated budget for the film as a major portion of the shooting for the second part is yet to be shot. If everything goes smoothly, the first part is expected to be out by this year-end and the latter part will have a theatrical release sometime in 2022.
This Sukumar directorial also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Malayalam actor Fahad Faisal among others in prominent roles. Devi Sri Prasad is the music composer and Mythri Movie Makers banner is bankrolling this pan-Indian project.
