It is a known fact that Pushpa: The Rise is only the first part of the planned two parts of the film. While the film was planned to be made as a single film initially, it was later made into two due to the large scope of the film. The first part of the film is set to be released on Decmebr 17th this year, and the second part scheduled to be released next year.
The latest reports suggest that Pushpa: The Rise is 2 hours 56 minutes long, just 4 minutes short of 3 hours. Considering that the first part is itself this long, there’s no wonder why Sukumar decided to opt for two parts to tell the story. Given that Sukumar’s last film, Rangasthalam, was also nearly 3 hours long, and yet managed to become a huge success, everyone’s expecting the same from Pushpa as well.
On the other hand, Pushpa has a huge cast that includes Rashmika Mandanna as the leading lady, Fahadh Faasil as the lead antagonsit, Sunil in a key role, and several other notable actors. The trailer of Pushpa: The Rise was released recently, and managed to impress the audiences.
