The makers of hero Allu Arjun and director Sukumar’s upcoming pan-India film, Pushpa-The Rise have earlier announced that the film will hit the screens on December 25th as the Christmas festival special. But a couple of days back while revealing the film’s heroine Rashmika Mandanna’s character poster, the release date was not mentioned by the team and this has raised doubts on the film’s release during the Christmas season.
Meanwhile, this morning, ending all the speculations, the makers have announced that Pushpa- The Rise will have its theatrical release on December 17th which means a week in advance then the earlier announced date. Co-starring Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil in the antagonist role Pushpa is being made as two parts and the second installment of this rustic entertainer is expected to be out sometime in 2022.
Being bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers in association with Muttamsetty Media, Devi Sri Prasad is composing soundtracks for the film.
