Icon Star Allu Arjun and director Sukumar’s rustic drama, Pushpa-The Rise had a decent run at the Telugu box office. On the other hand, the film’s Hindi version had beyond imagination run and minted more than Rs 100 crore(Nett) in North belt. In commerical prospects, the film ended up as a superhit at the box office.
Later, the film had digital premieres on Amazon Prime Video in January and got good applause from the digital audience also. Last week, the film had satellite premiere on noted entertainment channel Star MAA. Today the BARC report for the last week Television content is out and the reports indicate that Pushpa has registered a whopping of 22.5 TRP ratings during its first Television premiere.
As the first part of Pushpa is well received by the audience, the team is planning to make the second installment Pushpa-The Rule in a even more gripping way. The shooting for Pushpa 2 is expected to commence from next month.
