The shooting of Stylish Star Allu Arjun’s upcoming film Pushpa resumed just yesterday. Pushpa is being directed by Sukumar and has Rashmika Mandanna playing the female lead, while Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil plays the antagonist of the film.
The makers of Pushpa decided to release the film in two parts, as the story of the film has that much scope. The first part of Pushpa will be released this year, while the second part is expected to release this year. Sukumar is said to be planning to start shooting for the second part of Pushpa during mid-2022. The initial release date of Pushpa 1 was in August this year, but due to the second wave of coronavirus, the release of Pushpa got postponed.
According to the latest reports, the makers of Pushpa are planning to release Pushpa on December 24th, for Christmas, which is a holiday season for all. Given that the shooting resumed just yesterday, there is enough time to wrap up shooting and release the film in December. On the other hand, Allu Arjun is expected to shoot for another film, before he gets to shooting for Pushpa 2. There are a lot of expectations on Pushpa, and releasing the film during a holiday season would fare really well for the producers.
