Allu Arjun is one of those actors who enjoys a good fan base all over the country, thanks to his acting skills and dancing prowess. The actor is currently busy with director Sukumar’s Pushpa: The Rise, which is the first part of the two-part franchise. Three songs from the film have already been released, while the teaser was released earlier this year.
Pushpa is all set to release in theatres on December 17th this year, and hence, the post-production works of the film are said to be going on at a fast pace. On the other hand, it is now being said that the film’s budget has gone overboard by a lot. While the initial budget for the film was 150 Crores, an additional 40 Crores is said to have been invested in the film, as Sukumar is known for his perfection.
Given that the film was mostly shot outdoors, and hundreds of extras and junior artists are needed, the budget is said to have gone overboard. So far, Bunny hasn’t had a single theatrical release in Hindi, and with Pushpa being planned to be released in Hindi as well, huge promotions need to be done in the North, for the audiences to go and watch the film. For Mythri Movie Makers to be able to recover their investment, it is now going to be a huge task, with the stakes having increased with an overboard budget.
