Allu Arjun’s Pushpa managed to get a competition-less release date, all across the country, and despite the mixed response it has been receiving, the film continues to get good numbers at the box office. As a result, the makers have been feeling quite alright until now, but the makers are said to be tense, given that two films are releasing this week.
Ranveer Singh’s ’83, a film that centres around India winning the 1983 Cricket World Cup, and Nani’s Shyam Singha Roy are all set to release on December 24th. Both of the films are carrying a good buzz around them, and the promotions for the films are also going on in full swing. If even one of these films manages to get a really good word of mouth, then the makers of Pushpa are said to be worried that the numbers would drastically drop for them.
Pushpa: The Rise, is the first part of the planned two parts, and has been made on a massive budget, on a pan-Indian scale. THe film released among humungous expectations, and while it is only the first half of the complete story, fans and audiences haven’t been really impressed with the film.
