It is well-known that star hero Allu Arjun and director Sukumar are working on a rustic entertainer titled, Pushpa. Earlier, the makers planned to release the film on August 13th but due to the prevailing Covid situation, the film release has been postponed.
In the meantime, as a major development, news came out that director Sukumar is planning to split the film into two parts. As per the reports, the first part of the film will have its theatrical release by this year end and the latter part will hit the screens sometime in 2022. Meanwhile, the latest news is that for the two parts, Allu Arjun will be taking a fat pay cheque of Rs 30 crore as his remuneration. Along with remuneration, Bunny will be taking a decent share in the film profits, reveal our sources.
As of now, the film’s shooting was stalled due to Covid uncertainty and is expected to resume soon after the situation returns to normalcy. Alongside Allu Arjun, Pushpa series stars Rashmika and Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil in prominent roles. Being bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers banner in association with Muttamsetty Media, Devi Sri Prasad is scoring music for the prestigious project.
