There were a lot of expectations on the first part of the Pushpa series, Pushpa: The Rise, directed by Sukumar. Given that it is the third film between Allu Arjun and Sukumar, audiences’ expectations were sky-high. Upon the release of the film, Pushpa failed to meet audience expectations, leading to a heavily mixed response from everywhere.
While the Telugu version received a mixed response, the film performed beyond expectations in Tamil and Hindi, turning in good profits for the producers. As a result, to make sure that the second part hits the right notes everywhere, the makers of Pushpa: The Rule, are said to be working hard from now on. The script work for the second part was supposed to have already begun by now but has been postponed as director Sukumar hasn’t been feeling well.
On the other hand, Bunny is now gearing up for the release of the Hindi dubbed version of Ala Vaikuntapuramlo very soon, and is expected to join the shoot of the second part of Pushpa in March
