Grand plans were made for the first part of Pushpa, Pushpa: The Rise, when the film was announced. It was said that the film’s shooting would take place in foreign locations, but due to the coronavirus pandemic, the locations had to be limited to within the state of Andhra Pradesh.
With covid situations having reduced sharply, and a sense of normalcy having mostly returned around the world, it is now being said that every plan that was made for Pushpa: The rise, would now be implemented for Pushpa: The Rule. It is being said that the shooting of the film would begin very soon and that it would take place in Singapore and Indonesia, in a grand manner.
On the other hand, owing to the grand success of the first part, director Sukumar has been busy fine-tuning the script of the second part of the film until now. All the original cast will return from the first film, with Fahadh Faasil set to reprise his role as the antagonist, and other actors are said to be added to the sequel as well, in key roles.
