It is known news that Puri Jagannath after the super hit of Ismart Shankar has started a project with Vijay Deverakonda titled Fighter in which Vijay will be seen as a boxer. The film will have a Pan Indian releases and stars Ananya Panday in the female lead role. The shooting of the film happened in Mumbai for about 40 days and then COVID-19 happened.
Now that there is the most number of cases in Maharashtra, shooting might not happen anytime soon there. So Puri Jagannath has decided to shift his base to Hyderabad back again. He wants to resume Fighter shoot in Hyderabad in the specially erected set in Ramoji Film City.
However, in Hyderabad too positive cases spike is there. So resume of the shoot will not happen anytime soon before September. But if at all the shoot happens, Fighter shoot will continue in Hyderabad. Mani Sharma is composing music for the movie. Ronit Roy and Ramya Krishnan are playing important roles.
