Puri Jagannadh, who is said to be in the process of wrapping up the shooting of his upcoming film, Rogue in Kolkata, is now going to direct a Bollywood movie. And the movie is likely Sanjay Dutt, who was recently released from Pune’s Yerwada jail after serving a 42-month sentence as he convicted for illegal possession of weapons in the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts case.
According to sources close to the actor, Puri met the actor earlier this week and narrated his script. Dutt gave a nod immediately as he really liked the storyline Puri proposed. This script will give the actor to perform and is an action-entertainer.
Puri had earlier done another Bollywood movie, Bbuddah… Hoga Terra Baap, which had quite the lacklusture run at the box office. Puri told an English daily, “Yes, I will be directing a Hindi film with Sanjay after I wrap up Rogue. When I narrated the script to Sanju, he loved it.” Looks like Puri is determined to shake things up considering he had sacked his former team members and now his team comprises new people only.
