Punjabi kudi honing Telugu for T’town debut

Shobhita Rana, a popular Punjabi star entering Tollywood opposite Revanth in a film title, with Raja Meeru Keka starring. The Rajput lass, who lived in Chandigarh is honing her Telugu speaking skills. Talking to an English daily, she said, “I figured I was the only one on set who didn’t know Telugu. My director Krishna Kishore also wanted me to get the lip sync right for my dialogues.

And it is much easier to act when you know what you’re saying. So, I decided to join Telugu classes.” When she was asked about her role in the film, she says, “I play a doctor in the movie, and Revanth who falls in love with me tries to woo me with the help of his friends – played by Noel and Hemanth.”
