The teaser already created strong interest, as Nandu’s honest and intense acting, along with the memes around his character, impressed many. Now, the makers have released the trailer.
The trailer shows a darkly funny story about a man whose life collapses after his girlfriend betrays him. He hopes of becoming as successful as Jeff Bezos or Elon Musk but ends up living in a small slum apartment after losing everything. Hurt and frustrated he tries to prove his worth but reacts to situations in extreme ways.
Nandu shines as Siddharth Reddy with perfect expressions, body language and commitment to the role. His performance seems to be the heart of the film.
Director Varun Reddy presents events in a raw, realistic way without sugarcoating. The trailer is well-cut and increases curiosity. Psych Siddharth releases on December 12, distributed by Suresh Productions and Spirit Media.
