PS-1 first weekend collections

Cashing in on the festival holidays, reputed filmmaker Mani Ratnam’s period drama, PS-1 is minting good revenues in Telugu. As per the trade reports, Ponniyin Selvan-1 has collected Rs 7.44 crore share by the end of its first weekend. Below is area-wise break up data.

As per the trade reports, the pre-release business for PS-1 for twin Telugu states is done for Rs 8.48 crore and the film should collect Rs 9 crore share to be a safe bet for the buyers. To achieve the break-even target in Telugu, PS-1 should collect Rs 1.56 crore more. As per the current trend, the film has high chances to achieve the target in the next couple of days.
