PS-1 11-Day Collection Report

Legendary filmmaker Mani Ratnam’s period drama, Ponniyin Selvan-1 is marching towards Rs 400 crore gross mark at the worldwide box office. Though the film’s Tamil version is doing well, the film collections are not upto the mark in Telugu. As per the trade reports, the film has collected Rs 8.52 crore share from twin Telugu states in eleven days. Below is area-wise break up data.

For the entire Telugu states, PS-1 rights are sold for Rs 8.48 crore and the film should collect Rs 9 crore to be a safe venture for the buyers. To date, the film has collected Rs 8.52 crore share in Telugu and is yet to collect Rs 48 lakhs to achieve break-even status.
