The new schedule for pan-India star Prabhas’ upcoming film, Project K under the direction of Nag Ashwin was planned a couple of days back in Hyderabad. In the schedule, Bollywood legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan who is playing a key role also participated but as an unexpected scenario, Amitabh was injured on the film sets.
Reportedly, the 80-year-old actor suffered a muscle tear in his right rib cage while performing an action stunt. Later, he was immediately rushed to AIG Hospital. He is currently resting at his residence in Mumbai.
Meanwhile, this morning on his personal blog, Amitabh Bachchan revealed his health details.”In Hyderabad at the shoot for Project K, during an action shot, I have got injured .. rib cartilage popped broke and muscle tear to the right rib cage .. canceled shoot .. did Doctor consult and scan by CT at the AIG Hospital in Hyderabad and flown back home .. strapping has been done and rest been advocated .. yes painful .. on movement and breathing .. will take some weeks they say before some normalisation will occur .. some medication is on also for pain”, wrote Amitabh Bachchan.
Soon after Amitabh Bachchan recovers, the shooting part for Project K will resume. Touted as a sci-fi thriller, this massive project also has Deepika Padukone in the female lead role. Being bankrolled by C Ashwini Dutt under his Vyjayanthi Movies banner, amidst high expectations, Project K is gearing up for a grand release in Hindi and all South versions on January 12, 2013.
