Yesterday, news came out that a few active producers guild stepped in to discuss the upcoming Sankranthi clash in Tollywood. It is widely known that Rajamouli’s RRR, Pawan Kalyan’s Bheemla Nayak and Prabhas’ Radhe Shyam are in the race to lock horns during the big festival season on January 7th, 12th and 14th respectively.
As per the inside reports, noted producer Dil Raju and a set of filmmakers came to a conclusion that the clash between big films will only affect the box office revenues of all films and suggested the makers of Bheemla Nayak postpone the film. Reportedly, the producers guild asked Bheemla Nayak producer Naga Vamsi to step out of the Sankranthi race and make a way for pan-India projects RRR and Radhe Shyam.
Sources also confirm that if Naga Vamsi is okay with the January 26th release date, Dil Raju assured to allocate a good number of theatres across twin states. Will Naga Vamsi accept the deal and postpone Bheemla Nayak’s release date? Needs to be seen.
