Suriya 42, according to producer KE Gnanavel Raja, is a response to blockbusters like RRR, KGF, and Baahubali.

Suriya, a skilled Tamil actor, is preparing to make a dazzling pan-India debut in the ongoing trend of pan-Indian cinema. Yeah, we are referring to his 42nd movie, now in production and going by the name Suriya 42. Producer KE Gnanavel Raja recently stated in an interview that it is a response to blockbusters like RRR, KGF, and Baahubali.

Suriya is well-known throughout the nation thanks to the popularity of his Hindi dubs of Tamil movies on TV. He hasn’t yet become well-known across all of India, though. But he gained a lot of national and even worldwide fame for his work in Jai Bhim and Vikram (in a cameo as Rolex). With so much momentum behind him, the versatile actor is prepared to have his next film become a great hit.

The actor’s most expensive film to date, according to producer KE Gnanavel Raja, was used in the filming of Suriya 42. In fact, it has a budget that is three times that of the actor’s most expensive movie to date. OTT Play claims. while talking in an interview, the producer said, “The budget of this film is three times over the highest budget film that Suriya has done so far. And the business of this movie is twice over his previous movies. It was very risky in terms of budget when we started.”

Talking about the scale of Suriya 42, he added, “The audience saw KGF from the Kannada film industry. In the Telugu film industry, there were Baahubali and RRR. Suriya 42 is our effort to make a movie that is an answer to these movies in terms of scale and content. That’s why we are very calculative and we are making sure no stills are leaked.”

Suriya 42 is apparently launching in as many as 10 languages, and according to TrackTollywood’s source, a sizable amount would be spent on its promotion. The overall film budget for the other actors will be far smaller than the promotion expenditure.
