Priyanshu Regrets Shelved Project With His Idol Irrfan Khan

Actor Priyanshu Painyuli recently shared a honest moment from his career revealing that he missed a chance to work with his idol Irrfan Khan.

Priyanshu said in an interview that he had signed a movie directed by Vishal Bhardwaj where he had several scenes with Irrfan. Sadly the project was shelved after Irrfan was diagnosed with cancer.

Priyanshu recalled how he had even started preparing for the role eating heavily to gain weight and growing a beard to look older. He said “Even one scene with Irrfan sir would have meant the world to me. But the film never happened”.

Irrfan Khan who passed away in 2020 due to complications from neuroendocrine cancer is remembered as one of India finest actors.

Priyanshu has acted in many films and continues to make a mark in Indian cinema.
