“Brother” is an upcoming Kollywood film starring Jayam Ravi and Priyanka Arul Mohan. Recently a photo from the film showing them as a married couple went viral.
In a recent interview, Priyanka Mohan clarified the situation. She said that people, especially from the Telugu community, misunderstood the picture.
She confirmed it was just a scene from the movie and found it amusing that people thought they were married for real.
“I was busy shooting and didn’t see it at first, but many people started calling me. A lot of Telugu folks believed we got engaged”.
“It was just a photo from the film. I wondered why our team chose to release this particular picture when we had many others,” she explained.
She added that it was a funny misunderstanding, and even Jayam Ravi was probably surprised by all the fuss.
