When global superstar Priyanka Chopra wed her life partner Nick Jonas in 2018, it was a joyous occasion for both Bollywood and Hollywood. The editorial was removed the following day, though, following a barrage of criticism, along with a statement of regret that read, “Upon further editorial review, we found this story did not meet our standards. We’ve removed it and apologize.”

In the article titled, “Is Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas‘ Love for Real?,” Because she wed Nick Jonas, Mariah Smith referred to Priyanka Chopra Jonas as a “global scam artist” and asserted her view that she used the singer for her own fame. She provided a good deal of evidence to support her claims, but The Cut changed the piece before removing it. Her remark regarding PeeCee was removed, but it still appears on Twitter and caused a sensation online.

Priyanka Chopra said she doesn’t want to “react or comment. It’s not even in my stratosphere. I’m in a happy place at this moment. This kind of random things can’t disturb it.”

Nick Jonas’ brother Joe Jonas had also come in support of the duo and tweeted, “This is disgusting. @TheCut should be ashamed to have someone write such evil words. What Nick & Pri have is Beautiful Love. Thank u, Next.”
