Mahesh Babu next film was directed by SS Rajamouli is in its pre production stage and shooting is set to begin later this year.
Rajamouli is currently finalizing locations, actors and conducting workshops with Mahesh Babu.
Prithviraj Sukumaran, a Malayalam actor, is in discussions to play the main villain. He is eager to join the film sets soon and an official announcement is expected before shooting starts. He also recently acted in Prabhas Salaar.
Rajamouli is also negotiating with top Hollywood studios for collaboration on the project, with the final budget yet to be confirmed.
KL Narayana is producing the film, and MM Keeravani will compose the music. SSMB29 is described as a forest adventure that will be filmed in multiple countries around the world.
