The set designers, producers of Balakrisna’s 100th film are working day in and day out to recreate the set accurately as the movie is based on the 1st century ad Satavahana ruler, Gautamiputra Satakarni. Krishh has the arduous task of recreating the era ahead of the start of the shooting.
A source from the film unit says, “Everything, right from the costumes and jewellery to the sets, will have to reflect the Satavahana period. Krish is working closely with historians and research scholars who are experts on the period, to help recreate the life and times of Gautamiputra Satakarni. In fact, the department of archaeology is also being consulted to ensure the detailing is authentic.” Balakrishna’s look is also been worked upon: “The filmmakers are currently in the process of finalising Balakrishna’s look.” According to reports in an English Daily, Gautamiputra Satakarni will also be shot in some exotic locations in Morocco as well.
