Premkumar Dismisses Rumors About 96 Part 2

Director Premkumar has officially completed the script for 96 Part 2 the sequel to his much-loved film 96.

Soon after his announcement rumors began to spread that Vijay Sethupathi had opted out of the sequel and that actor Pradeep Ranganathan was approached as a replacement but he too had declined.

Premkumar has now addressed these reports calling them completely false. He confirmed that 96 second part will bring back the original cast, including Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha who played Ram and Jaanu in the first part.

He clarified that his conversation with Pradeep was about a different project and not connected to 96. He also expressed frustration over the spread of fake news and urged the media to report responsibly.

With this clarification fans can now be assured that the beloved story of 96 will continue with the original team intact.
