When Aadi Sai Kumar debuted as a hero, there was little buzz at first. But stars like Chiranjeevi, Nandamuri Balakrishna, Nagarjuna, and Venkatesh attended the launch and wished him well.

Prema Kavali had a break-even target of Rs. 4.5 crores. Despite releasing in an off-season with new actors like Aadi Sai Kumar, the film performed very well. It collected Rs. 10.18 crores share in its full run and became a double blockbuster, setting a rare record for a debut hero.
