Pre-production work for Hiranyakasyapa to take even longer

Rana is trying to be the face of movies that really don’t follow the regular commercial route. He is trying to find out more and more different stories, scripts. He has a vision about his career and he is happy to do movies in any language if the script is good. Thanks to Baahubali, he has a name as Bhallaladeva, that will last in public memory for years to come.

He is currently busy with three films in other languages but Telugu. They all will release in Telugu but they are being directed by directors from other languages. So, a real Telugu movie from Rana, is announced by him some time ago, but it is still taking so much time to take a shape.

Guna Sekhar announced his desire to direct a film called, Hiranyakasyapa, based on the mythological story of Prahlada. He wants to make a film that is equal in quality with an old classic, Bhakta Prahlada and also, he wants to give more insights into Hiranyakasyapa, the most feared demon Kind before Ravana. So, the team he has assembled for this movie is trying hard to lock the script as perfectly as they can. Even Suresh Babu said in an interview that they are not in hurry to start the project. The movie could start to shoot only in 2019, it seems.
