Pratyusha’s Mother Says Justice Not Done

The death case of actress Pratyusha has been pending in the Supreme Court of India for many years. The court has now announced its verdict.

Siddharth Reddy has been asked to surrender before the police within four weeks. The Supreme Court supported the earlier decision of the H.C.

Pratyusha’s mother, Sarojini has been fighting for justice for the past 23 years. After the verdict she said that justice was not done for her daughter.

She stated that the Munuswamy Commission had said Pratyusha was raped and murdered and she expected a life sentence.

However the court gave a two-year jail term. Pratyusha passed away on February 23, 2002.
