Prashanth Varma annouces the title of his “Virus Film”!

Zombie-calypse or Zombie apocalypse films have been a trend in Hollywood with many stars being a part of such films. Some films decided to take romantic route. Some decide to go for a serious action thriller genre and some made comedies, parodies. Indian Cinema saw its first Zombie centric comedy with Go Goa Gone and the directors, Raj & DK, have announced a sequel to the film but it still did not go on floors. They are busy wrapping up their Family Man web-series, second season.

Now, Telugu Cinema has never tried its hand on such subject and Prashanth Varma who made Awe is ready to go for it. When he announced his next film with a teaser saying, “Corona virus is just the start”, many thought he could be going for a creature thriller Zombie film. The director seems to have taken Zombie comedy route and the film could be a parody of popular commercial films, as he announced the title of the film, “Zombie Reddy”. Yes, you read it right. We still don’t know the cast details of the film.
