Director Prashant Neel is currently promoting his upcoming film KGF 2, which is a sequel to his 2018 film. The trailer of the film was released a few days ago, and the expectations on the film, which were already high enough, further increased with the trailer, which gave just a glimpse into the kind of action-packed film that KGF 2 is.
At a recent press meet, Prashant was asked about his next film, Salaar, which is headlined by Prabhas. For quite some time now, there have been rumours that Salaar is a remake of Prashant’s Kannada film Ugramm. Prashant confirmed that Salaar is a fresh story and that it’s not a remake. He said that all of his films feature a few shades of Ugramm, but they’re not the same, just like Salaar.
On the other hand, Shruti Haasan is the leading lady of Salaar, which is scheduled to be released next year. The first look of Prabhas from the film was released quite some time ago, and now there are speculations that the teaser for Salaar will be attached to KGF 2, which is to be seen.
