Prashant Neel answers the question on everyone’s mind

Whether or not one agrees if Prashant Neel is Rajamouli’s contemporary, in terms of the kind of entertainment he provides with his films, there is no denying the fact that he changed the way one looks at the Kannada film industry. He delivered two back to back mammoth pan-Indian hits in the form of KGF and KGF 2, and the director is one of the most sought after directors in the country right now.

Prashant is currently on a break and is expected to resume shooting for Prabhas’s Salaar in May, and even has a couple more Telugu films in the pipeline. Ever since Prashant announced his Telugu films, there has been one constant question: Why Telugu, why not Kannada or any other language. This is natural, given that he is now an established director in Sandalwood.

Prashant has now answered this question, saying that it is not the money, but the acknowledgement, respect and the kind of response that he received from the industry, after the release of KGF 1, which made him agree to do Telugu movies.
