Prabhas has a busy few years ahead with multiple big projects lined up. He is currently working on The Raja Saab and Fauji, while his 25th film Spirit with Sandeep Reddy Vanga and the sequels to Salaar and Kalki are also in the pipeline.
Amidst this, buzz around his collaboration with Hanu-Man director Prasanth Varma created huge excitement. The film, tentatively titled Raka, is said to be a mythological epic based on Bakasura’s story.
It is expected to be part of the Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe (PVCU) and will be backed by Hombale Films, who signed a three-film deal with Prabhas. Actress Bhagyashree Borse is being considered as the female lead.
At SIIMA 2025 in Dubai, Prasanth Varma hinted that the team is ready to begin whenever Prabhas gives dates.
With the director recently winning Best Director (Critics) at SIIMA, fans are eagerly waiting for this massive collaboration to take shape.
