Six years after Kannada remake of Mahesh Babu’s Pokiri, in which Pranitha made her film début, she is all set to romance Mahesh Babu in a movie with the superstar himself. With Srikanth Addala’s Brahmotsavam, Pranitha has something to say about a big thing being stricken off her bucket list, because dreams do come true. She recently told English daily, “I hadn’t thought of this before. I had watched Pokiri quite a few times back then to prepare for my role and I couldn’t help thinking, ‘Hopefully I will get to act with Mahesh Babu someday’. And here I am,” says the actress. She says she will be playing Mahesh Babu’s “bava-maradalu”. The role will reportedly be of a traditional Telugu girl. The buzz is that she will be seen sporting kurtis and patiala pants. She says, it is a relatable character that the audience will be sure to like.
The actress had a lot of nice words to say about Mahesh Babu. He said, “Mahesh is synonymous with perfection; he pays attention to small details like the blink of an eye. It was a great learning experience, to say the least,” she says.
