Prakash Raj the legendary actor of South India, always tried to prove himself as a director with films like Dhoni, Mana Oori Ramayanam, Ulvacharu Biryani. His directed films have proven to be moderately successful at box office majorly in Kannada, his mother tongue. He tried to make films in Telugu and Tamil as well. But at this point it seems like he resorted to make his directorials in Kannada. He is a specialist remakes as well. As he made Salt and Pepper and Shutter from Malayalam, as Manadolle Ramayana and Oggarane. Now he is taking up the job of making Hindi Queen in Kannada. The title of the movie is yet to be known but Kannada big actress, Parul Yadav is confirmed to do the movie in the role of Kangana. As per the norm he set, Ilaiyaraja might be the composer for the film as well.

While the movie is also being made, in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam. These Regional language versions are said to be directed by Revathy and tamil script will be written by Suhasini Mani Ratnam. Amala Paul is confirmed for the Malayalam version as the Queen. She has a good following as he belongs to Malayalee native. Tamil and Telugu versions, the lead cast is yet to be decided. Even though Tamannah is said to be finalised there is a chance Amy Jackson might come into the picture. She might do the character Lisa Heydon also but would that be in Telugu version with Tamannah playing the lead Queen and she playing the lead in Tamil as Queen is yet to be seen. Even though Devi was decent in Tamil as per box office it was a disaster in Telugu as Abhinetri so producers are in two minds for going with Tamannah.
