The NEWS over adulterated ghee in the Laddu at Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam in Andhra Pradesh has caused nationwide outrage. Social media is circulating with different opinions on the issue. On September 20, Pawan Kalyan expressed concern about claims that animal fat was being added to the Laddu.
In response, actor Prakash Raj urged Pawan, who is also the Deputy CM of AP, not to escalate the issue before identifying and punishing those responsible. This led to a heated exchange, with Kalyan questioning if he had attacked any religion and challenging Raj’s interpretation of his comments.
Prakash Raj, currently filming abroad, responded in a video, saying, “Dear Pawan Kalyan garu, I saw your press meet… it’s surprising how my comments were misunderstood. I’m shooting abroad but will address your questions when I return. Please check my previous tweet for clarity”.
Pawan Kalyan, in his statement, criticized those using secularism to stir controversy and urged people not to mock religious sentiments. He also called for a board to protect Sanatana Dharma and questioned if similar remarks would be made about other religions.
