Prabhas to Takeover Shah Rukh Khan’s Release Date

Kollywood director Atlee Kumar joined forces with Bollywood Baadshah Shah Rukh Khan for a pan-India project. Titled Jawan, the film’s shooting is underway at a fast pace is well-established news. Touted as an intense actioner, Jawan co-starring Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara in key roles is scheduled for a theatrical release in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu languages on June 2,2023.

Being bankrolled by Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment banner, Anirudh is scoring soundtracks for Jawan. Meanwhile, the latest reports suggest that Jawan is likely to skip the announced release date and postponed.

On the other hand, news is also coming in that Adipurush starring Prabhas which is announced for a theatrical release on June 16th is all set to occupy the June 2nd release date. However, an official confirmation regarding the same is awaited.

Touted as a mythological drama, Adipurush is a motion capture drama based on epic Ramayana. Being made in 3D formate, Bollywood filmmaker Om Raut is the director for Adipurush. The film has Kriti Sanon, Sunny Singh and Saif Ali Khan in goddess Sita, Laxmana and Lankesh roles respectively. T-Series banner is bankrolling this high budget drama that will have a pan-India release.
