Pan-India star Prabhas’ high budget project under the direction of Mahanati fame Nag Ashwin was formally announced last year. Though Prabhas was supposed to begin shooting for the film last year itself, due to the Covid crisis and delay in Prabhas’ shooting schedules, the film’s shoot is being postponed. While Bollywood legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan has been roped in for a crucial role, star heroine Deepika Padukone is on board for the female lead role.
Meanwhile, the latest news is that the film has gone on the floors from today onwards in Hyderabad. As per the sources, the film’s shoot has begun in a specially erected set where a few key episodes are being canned on Amitabh Bachchan. Touted as a sci-fi thriller, Prabhas is expected to join the film sets soon.
Veteran producer Ashwini Dutt is bankrolling this as-yet-untitled project with a massive budget. Reportedly, lavish set work is underway for this India’s costliest movie at various studios in Hyderabad. Mickey J Meyer is the music composer and Mahanati fame Dani Sanchez-Lopez is cranking the camera.
