Prabhas-Maruthi’s film continues to be a hot topic

There’s been no shortage of rumors or speculations surrounding Prabhas’s film with director Maruthi ever since it came to light that the two would be teaming up. Numerous times, there have been reports that the film was off, and then that it wasn’t, regarding it casting and also regarding the backdrop of the film. Despite director Maruthi having denied all of these several times and clearly stating that any facts would only come from him, this seems to be a never-ending saga.

Pakka Commerical was an important film for Maruthi, as the film was said to have held the fate of Maruthi’s film with Prabhas, and despite the film getting a negative talk, it was strongly implied that the duo’s film was very much on. Now, ten days late, after the film has been declared a disaster, with not much revenue at the box office, it is being said that Prabhas has decided not to team up with Maruthi.

Of course, all of these are just mere reports. Maruthi just confirmed days earlier that he is confident of the film taking off during Dasara and even said that the intends to complete the film quickly and release it. It is now to be seen what will happen ultimately.
